Painter of light, dancer of joy, builder of things, and mom to one very round cat.

I was born barefoot, running wild and eating with my hands. Small, fierce, unworried.
Then I grew. And kept growing, all the way to almost six feet. They mocked the tall girl. I wore boys' shoes because nothing came in my size. It took me years to learn to stand tall anyway.
Then I got brave. Two years of French, and I went to study there and took every class taught in it. Machine learning caught my eye, so I taught myself, and it carried me to America. Three good years in finance, until I knew corporate life wasn't for me.
So I closed the ledger and followed the spark into a startup. New page, blank canvas, a lot more sunshine.
Still barefoot at heart.
Born running barefoot and eating with my hands. Wild, small, and unworried.
Stretched all the way toward six feet. A tall girl learning to take up her space.
University and work across China, France, and America. Years happily buried in spreadsheets, learning the world one column at a time.
Closed the ledger and started a company. New page, blank canvas, a lot more sunshine.
Like a plant, I'm fairly sure I need light to grow. These are my moments with the sun.

So did Monet. He chased the same light his whole life. You can turn your own photos into something like his at monetcanvas.com.
